The Census Is Right - Geolocation-Based Census Game

Our challenge was to develop an android app that leveraged USA Today's API database. Knowing how long some car rides can be, we thought a geolcation-based census game could make city hopping more interesting. After a full day of coding we developed an app that could support multiplayer gameplay and utilized the player's location to ask a series of questions on census data. The rules were similar to the famed "The Price Is Right" game, where the closest number would win. To our surprise we took home the grand prize, and the people's choice award. Even more importantly, we made some lifelong friends and had a great experience.
