Armed with an idea that data plans were restricting users from going online, we embarked on developing a software that could give users the power to find password encrypted WiFi nearby and gain access. Those giving out their WiFi would then get paid on a usage basis either through FIAT currency or bitcoin. After a full 24 hours of programming, nerf battles, and meme creation (for a competition) we built out a system that all of us were proud of. While we were delighted to receive the grand prize, we were even happier to have made life long friends and lasting memories.
